CHROMA STUDIO

Chroma strives to create and maintain accessible event spaces for our community.

With a funding opportunity we were able to sustain a workspace for six months.

During this time we programmed twenty-two activations with the mission of centering the work of the womxn of color in our community.

Our events were always free and/or sliding scale.

Although the building was sold after our first six months, forcing us out,


we are proud of how this space became a cultural hub where members of our community we able to debut their work as they saw fit.

The model was simple, tell us your idea and we’ll do everything we can to support you.

Sienna Fekete is a producer and curator based in New York City with a background in radio, podcasting, and music. She is a co-founder of Chroma, a cultural agency & creative studio centering the work and perspectives of woc. She has worked exclusively with BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra, On Air Fest, Red Bull Arts, NTS, The Lot Radio, StoryCorps, Top Rank Magazine, Domino Sound, Playground Radio and SiriusXM. She looks forward to creating more initiatives with Chroma, producing and programming more audio projects, growing her practice as a curator and archivist, and building collectively with her community.
